Attention beaders! How can I clean my tarnished silver findings?
I have a bunch of rings, beads and silver chain, some were sitting in some of my plastic containers for several months. Some of them are tarnished. What is the best way to clean them? Regular clean silver jewelry?
An easy way to clean them is to use dry baking soda. Rub them with it and they will come clean. You can use the pit of money first, then dry and follow with baking soda. My grandmother let me polish the silver in this way. The hollow leave a scummy surface after a certain time, and soda really ends off (especially large items where the foam shows) well. Do not store all the elements of money almost anything containing rubber, such as sulfur silver tarnishes quickly.
